Perennial, popular bedding plant with bunches of orange range flowers abundantly produced from May to June. Ideal for Summer Bedding and Cut Flowers. Self-sowing
Sowing indoors: Sow in late summer to early winter for spring flowering or late winter to early spring for autumn
Germinate temperatures 21°C (70°F) for 10-20 days. Surface sow in pots in quality seed compost (compost should be kept moist ) covered with a fine thin layer of compost or vermiculite. From sowing to blooming 70-80 days. Planting outside after all risk of frost. Sowing directly seeds outdoors directly where they are to flower or in a reserve bed in a sheltered position.
