Trigonella foenum-graecum
Fenugreek is an annual aromatic herb that produces yellow/white flowers and long yellow seedpods. It likes full sun and well-drained, neutral to slightly acidic soil. It doesn’t like to be transplanted.
Sow directly into the garden or plug modules or a large pot from late spring to late summer. Cover the seed with vermiculite. Maintain min 15’C. Germination 14-21 days. If direct sowing, sow into cultivated soil so that the seeds are about 5 cm (2in) apart and 1 cm (1/2in) deep. Thin to 15 cm (6in) apart in all directions.
