Description

Sinapis alba L. = Brassica alba L.
An annual plant, up to 120 cm with yellow flowers. It has a strong root system with numerous root hairs that contribute to drought resistance. With premature sowing, the plant quickly enters the flowering phase. It is grown for its sharp-smelling young leaves, which are used raw in salads. It is a winter plant that inseminates very quickly at high temperatures. It blooms from May to June, the seeds are white, brown, or black, depending on the species, and that is omitting the smell only when they are ground and mixed with the liquid. It is sown in the spring for seeds or every three weeks because of the leaves. You can have fun indoors in the ground or on damp paper, sprouts after 2-3 days can be used for sprouts that have a slightly spicy taste. Also used as a spice seed, often for the preparation of mustard. The plant can also be grown to repel nematodes, green manure and to improve the soil.

Sow all year round, just under surface, and keep moist until germination. The plant prefers full sun and fertile, moist soils.
