A new superb climber, Borlotto type. Extra prolific and easy to crop variety. Pods are deep red with ivory veins cm 25 long with 8/9 beans per pod. The immature pods are eaten whole, semi-mature pods are shelled and the beans inside eaten, mature pods can also be shelled and the beans eaten fresh or dried and stored like kidney beans, great for pasta. Climbing varieties can reach up to 2.5m in height and are best grown-up canes.


Pole beans need the support of a trellis at least 6′ high.  It can be a fence, strings, a net, pole tipis.  If using a pole, plant 4-6 beans around the leg of each pole, About every 4″ down the row.
