Description
Parsnip is easy to grow and can withstand quite a bit of frost. Parsnips look like winter carrots both in terms of size and appearance, they are cream-white colored and taste a bit less sweet than winter carrots.
Direct sow in spring into prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Prefers light well-drained soil. Avoid sowing in cold, wet soils. Sow seeds at 20mm deep with 30cm spacing.
