A rare and unknown species from the Maldives. Unusual characteristics as well as taste. While it is young, it does not differ from a cucumber, so it is most often used as a fresh vegetable for salad or thermally processed as greens. The flesh is white, juicy, crispy and very mild in taste, the pulp is orange in color and has a melon taste, it is used to make alcohol. The fruit reaches a length of up to 30 cm and a weight of 2 kg. The fruit is ripe when it starts to crack.
