Italian Heirloom 1875. This melon’s flesh is one of the most flavorful muskmelons available, deeply ribbed 3-5 lb. The fruit has a small seed cavity and fine rind, great storing that will keep up to 2 weeks if refrigerated. Vegetation 80 days!


Germination: 3-10 days on temperature over 20°C

Seed Sowing Depth: 1-2cm

Sowing Indoors: 2-4 weeks before the last frost. Provide over 20°C soil temperature. Sow 2-3 seeds per cell/pot. Sowing into the individual pot ( biodegradable pots reduces root damage when transplanting). Transplant after last frost, 1m apart.

Sowing Outdoors:  Sow after the last frost when the soil temperature is over 20°C. Sow 2-3 seeds every 1m, thin to the strongest seedling.
