The Eucalyptus Gunnii, also known as the Cider Gum Tree, is the most popular Eucalyptus species. Originating from Australia’s southern coast, extremely hardy and versatile evergreen variety which can be grown as a fabulous specimen tree on its own or used as a great screening plant to be planted in borders, where their subtle fragrance to be enjoyed. Well known for its insect repelling qualities which can be useful when planted near decking to deter pests. From June through to August, pretty white flowers begin to flourish amongst the silvery leaves. The eye-catching sprigs of the grey-blue foliage can also be brought inside and used in beautiful cool-themed flower arrangements.
