Desert Willow, Desert Catalpa, Flowering Willow, Orchid of the Desert
Tropical shrub or tree, in natural conditions, reaches 8m in a pot does not exceed 180cm. The leaf is lanceolate, dark green. It blooms from early summer to mid-autumn. The flowers are pink-purple with a yellow trumpet-shaped center.
Reproduction: By seed
Sowing: Throughout the year, onto moist well-drained seed compost soil or in the substrate, barely cover the seed.
Germination: Temperature 20-25 C, germinates in 3-6 weeks.
Location: Requires light and moderate humidity.
Care: Stored in a pot, transplanted when the root begins to emerge at the openings of the pot. During the winter it is stored at a minimum temperature of 5-15C
