Description

Sabal minor Dwarf palmetto, a small species of palm found in the southeastern and south-central United States, as well as Mexico. This fan-shaped palm can withstand lower temperatures and is one of the most frost-resistant, surviving temperatures down to -20°C (in Serbia it survives without protection). Sabal minor is a stemless shrub, typically growing 5-10 feet tall with leaves up to 4 feet wide. It produces white flowers followed by black fruits in long clusters. This species is best suited for subtropical and warm temperate climates.

Soak the seeds for 24 hours in cold water, then place them in a bag/container with wet sand or perlite, vermiculite, etc. and then leave them in the refrigerator for 30 days, after which the seeds are taken out of the refrigerator and then sown in the substrate and stored in a warm place.
