Bismarckia Nobilis is a stunning, spectacular, large silver blue fan palm native to Madagascar. Once it establishes itself in cultivation, it tends to be rather fast-growing. The Bismarck Palm has a full crown of large, silvery-blue, circular, fan-shaped leaves, up to 3 meters across. Hardiness zones 9-11, (-5°C/25°F, 4°C/40°F). The silver form takes the inland heat better. Provide a sunny, warm, position, and well-drained sandy soil.

Sowing: Soak seeds 2-3 days in warm water, then sow in sandy soil at 1 inch deep ( Or put seeds in vermiculite and keep them till germination occur). Provide light, warmth, and keep the soil moist. Seeds germinate in 1-3 months or a little more, at 30°C.
