Currant with white fruit which is grown primarily for fruit production. It is a compact, deciduous shrub that grows 3-4′ tall. Clusters of greenish-yellow flowers bloom in spring, fit ripens in July. Best grown in organically rich, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Avoid overhead watering, however. Plants are self-fertile.  It is generally recommended that stems older than 3 years on red currants be removed. It may take 4-5 years for plants to become well-established and reach full fruit-bearing potential.

Propagation: By seeds/cuttings / division

Pre-treatment: Mix seeds with wet sand or / vermiculite/perlite, place in a zip-lock bag, then place the bag with the seeds for 1-3 months in the refrigerator after that period sow the seeds. Or sow outdoors in autumn/winter.

Sowing: All year round in substrate or perlite at a depth of 0.5mm

Germination: Temperature 25-30 C, germinate in 2-9 months

Location: Requires direct light and moderate humidity.
