Description
Great for growing in wall crevices, rockeries, path edges, or gravel gardens with cushions of delicate pink, white or yellow flowers and dense mossy carpet of grey-green foliage. Perfect for rockeries, Good companion plant with Sempervivums, flowers from earliest spring until summer. 10cm high.
Sow: indoors from March to May, thinly in pots or trays of seed compost; do not cover. Keep moist and warm 15-20°C (60-68°F). Germination can be slow and erratic. Transplant seedlings as they emerge to further trays or pots of compost and grow in frost-free conditions. Transplant to final positions the following spring.
Flowers: May to July the following year.
