Description

Sturdy plants with strong stems. Great fresh or dried- high-quality cut flowers. Produces large, uniform, globe-shaped flower heads. Suitable for cutting flowers during periods of high temperature. From sowing to flowering takes 2 months.


Sowing: Sow indoors in the spring (2-4 weeks before the last frost) on the surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost-cover with a sprinkling of soil. Propagate or place in a polythene bag. Germination temp. +20°C, germ. takes 14-21 days. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, and plant out after the danger of frost has passed. Prefers well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Can be direct sown in a cut flower bed or field and is well suited to production in areas with high temperatures.
