Description

A rustic perennial plant, also known as Chinese lanterns. Showy, edible berries. Decorative feature for flower arrangements. Highly ornamental & impressive in the garden and excellent for drying – brilliant Christmas decorations!

Sowing Instructions: Can be sown at any time of year except early to mid-summer. Sow on the surface of moist, well-drained seed compost and sprinkle compost over the seeds as light is beneficial to germination. Place in a propagator or seal in a polythene bag and maintain a temperature of about 20C. Germination should take from 21-30 days and as the seedlings emerge, gradually increase ventilation by opening the bag or propagator vents.
