Spectacular tall Red flowering back of the border plant. The nectar-rich flowers are much loved by bees and butterflies. Typically biennial but spring-sown plants will flower the first year. Flowering 90 days from direct sowing.
Indoors: Sow in pots 6-8 weeks before setting out after frost. Keep at 65-70 F. Outdoors: Direct sow after frost or in early fall for two years in a row to have flowers every year. When to Set Outside: After the last frost. Sprout Time: 7-14 days.
