A new selection of double-full flowers with tall, strong, upright branches and sturdy stems, ideal for cut flowers. Suitable for growing outdoors and in a greenhouse. A self-sowing biennial plant.
An annual plant that can reach a height of up to 120 cm. It blooms periodically from spring to autumn. It can be used for cut flower because it lasts a long time.
Sow indoors in spring or under glass autumn-winter. Indoors, surface sows onto moist, well-drained seed compost. Just cover the seed with a sprinkling of vermiculite. Germination may occur in 2-4 weeks. if germination does not occur cold stratify, place in a polythene bag, and pop in the fridge at 4°C for 3 weeks then remove to warmth for germination, ideal temp. 15-18°C. A propagator may be used. Keep out of direct sunlight. Germination takes 1-2 months approx.
