Description

Heirloom from Poland. Immature green fruit turns to lemon yellow as it ripens and begins to split its protective husks. The fruit is firm, juicy, and very sweet- perfect for jams, jellies, and salsa.

Sowing Instructions: Can be sown at any time of year except early to mid-summer. Sow on the surface of moist, well-drained seed compost and sprinkle compost over the seeds as light is beneficial to germination. Place in a propagator or seal in a polythene bag and maintain a temperature of about 20C. Germination should take from 1-3 weeks and as the seedlings emerge, gradually increase ventilation by opening the bag or propagator vents.
